Born and raised in Haleyville, Alabama, Dr. Danny Lee grew up loving the charm and family friendly atmosphere of the South. Dr. Lee builds solid professional relationships with his patients that last for years. His commitment to providing a supreme quality of service is what makes his practice unrivaled in the area. Dr. Lee believes that being able to transform patients’ lives by restoring their quality of vision through the use of advanced techniques is personally and professionally rewarding. Schooling and Training

Dr. Lee began his journey towards achieving a medical degree while attending the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Lee then performed his ophthalmology residency training at Maryland General Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Immediately following the completion of his residency, Dr. Lee opened his very first private practice in Kentucky. During his time there, he honed his surgical skills and placed focus on offering thorough, quality care. With a strong desire to broaden his horizons and refine his other skills, he returned to academics to perform two additional years of fellowship training in corneal and LASIK surgery. Working alongside of some of the most highly respected vision specialists in the country, Dr. Lee was able to sharpen his technique, treat complex cases, and focus his personal attention to detail.

Dr. Lee has extensive experience and a vast knowledge of all aspects of refractive surgery, corneal transplantation, and laser surgery. He continues to further his education, studying the latest advancements in the world of optics.
